The New VereConference Rooms were activated this week and wow do they look good. First, the Free Rooms are now 3-Person rooms. They are good for the day and then you have to order a new one the next day. The process is very quick.. less than a minute to sign up, you get the activation email instantly, and you log in to your room.
The new features and functions are awesome, especially the whiteboards that make teaching and training very interactive. Also, power point presentations are uploaded directly into the rooms - no more converting to html (thank you, thank you, thank you!!). Rooms are still functional for the visually impaired as well.
I wrote a Press Release to announce this offer. Visit to sign up for a Free Room. Personal Use, Business Use, Corporate Use - these rooms are good for all.
You can order a Free Room here.
Vicki Zerbee of Duncansville, PA, announced that effective February 1, 2007, there are unlimited, free 3-person online conference rooms available for use. These web rooms can be utilized for a variety of purposes including: business use of any kind that requires two or more people to communicate in a secure environment, or training and education purposes with direct upload of power point presentations, web pages or other documents that can be viewed together in the room, and whiteboards for live interaction. The internet conference rooms can also be for personal use to bring family and friends scattered all over the world into one room to communicate live.
As with anything of value that one would want in his or her life, research is necessary to determine the best. As far as web conference rooms go, there are some major differences. Some technology seems to produce frustration and disappointment in both quality and deliverability. There is a wide range of features when one system is compared to another. Some require installation of screen sharing software that may not work on some computers, and there is still a requirement to dial in on a phone in order to hear the presentation. Background noises and unreliable phone connections can take away from these sessions and leave one with an unprofessional experience.
Next is the price to consider. Some conference room systems are very expensive and may cut out the smaller business prospects or personal use customers. Zerbee stated that aside from the free rooms, if there is a need to upgrade to a larger room, the cost is very affordable. The features and functions are similar to online rooms that are much more expensive.
For those that are brand new to online conference rooms, there are some requirements: a computer with internet connection of any kind, speakers on your computer, a microphone (and maybe a headset) if one will want to speak inside the room. There is also the option of text chat to communicate.
Online conference rooms are 100% internet based. There is no telephone required. Rooms can be used to provide Live, online support for customers and website visitors, and perform Live online training sessions for your team. The web rooms are extremely easy to use and provide rich, quality sound. There are group and private text chat options, and even keyboard commands for the visually impaired user. Synchronized web browsing allows showing web pages for all viewers to see. Coming soon is a doorbell feature so that when someone enters a web room, the owner will hear a sound that announces the visitor. Utilizing internet conference rooms for presentations and events can save a business and individuals significant funds that might presently be used for traveling, rental fees of physical locations and equipment. The Free 3-person online conference rooms can be accessed within minutes and a new free room can be ordered each day. Contact Vicki Zerbee at 814-931-8041.
